Ajax DoorProtect detects a door or window opening through a magnetic reed contact and a magnet. It is intended for indoor use and connects to a compatible Ajax hub over the Jeweller protocol. It includes an input for an external wired detector with an NC contact and tamper detection for enclosure opening or removal. The hub and detector must use the same regional radio band.

Applications
For door or window protection, check hub compatibility, radio band and magnet positioning. Plan the detector and magnet on the two moving/fixed parts of the opening, checking alignment throughout normal movement. Before radio enrolment, confirm the hub, radio region and detector version; then verify opening and tamper events in the system.
