The GST I-9105R detects smoke using a reflected infrared beam over an 8–100 m optical path. It reports fire and fault states through a compatible GST loop or contact outputs. One or more reflectors are required according to distance. Alignment, obstacles, dust and mounting stability must be considered during design and commissioning.
