The DS-PDSMK-S-WB detects smoke using a photoelectric chamber. It communicates over two-way 433 MHz radio with AES-128 encryption and sounds an alarm of at least 85 dB at 3 m. The datasheet specifies radio range up to 800 m in free space. Its built-in CR17450 battery is not replaceable; stated standby life is up to 10 years depending on conditions.

Applications
Designed for indoor ceiling mounting. Check the control panel’s radio compatibility, detector placement and actual conditions when assessing range and battery life. Select detector placement and the compatible panel within the detection-system design. Verify radio version and installation conditions, then enrol and test according to the manual; this overview replaces neither a fire-safety design nor the required periodic tests.
